Celebrating 20 years!

The Girlfriend Factor is commemorating its 20th anniversary this year – that’s two life-changing decades of providing educational grants and emotional support for motivated local women who’ve aspired to improve their economic position.

What We Believe

The Girlfriend Factor believes education is the key to self-sufficiency among women, and that women can accomplish anything they set their minds to when they have the support and encouragement of their girlfriends.

Closing in on $1 Million

Most recipients of our Go Girl! grants stay within our community to gain employment because they are already established here – so ultimately, we all win. To date, we have supported over 240 local women with more than $915,000 in grants as they pursue 4-year degrees or occupational certifications. Help us reach our goal of awarding $1 million in grants in our 20th year!
